THE MEZCAL MANIFESTO
The Movement to Eliminate Zeal-Less Corporate Aesthetic Lethargy (MEZCAL) is Bash Wathier’s campaign against corporate hotel art.
Bash founded MEZCAL in response to a growing outbreak of Impotent-Induced Ischemia, a dreadful condition caused by prolonged exposure to Bar Harbor Beige and Gentlemen’s Gray.
The MEZCAL Manifesto No. 1
issued on March 22, 2026 in Crapo, MD
1. Art requires risk
2. Anything designed to match the curtains is decor
3. Speed is more truthful than ego
4. The process matters as much as the product
5. No hotel art
